McDowell Memo: What sort of Vacation Theme Park or State Park?

What Type of Vacation for your Family State Park or Theme Park

Every year families around the country try to find the right place for your family vacations

If you are into rides and room service a Theme Park Vacation is the way to go. If you are into fishing boating and campfires a stay at a State Park Cottage or Cabin is the thing to do.

Here are some of the Costs examples I could find

May 22, 2017 · Disney World starts at $99 for a 1-day value ticket to the Magic Kingdom. These tickets are available on select days while regular tickets are $107 a person. On average, you can expect to spend about $91 on a one-day theme park ticket for an adult this summer. Ay yi yi.

For a family of 4 staying 5 days the cost of the Park would be $91 per person per day or $1820

The cost of food for the day is $45 per person per day or $900

The cost of a hotel off site would be $644.70 for one room or $1289.40 for two rooms

Hotels: average daily rate US 2019 | Statistic

The average daily rate (ADR) of hotels in the United States was 128.94 U.S. dollars as of February 2019. This figure was over 2 dollars higher than the ADR in the U.S. at the same time last year.

Cost of Food would be $350- for week,

Cost of other items $200 (Charcoal, renting canoe, etc.)

Total Costs

Theme Park 5 day vacation -$3364,70 with one room Cost Per Day $672.94
